Experience

Alan is a born and bred Territorian. After completing his studies at the Northern Territory University Alan commenced his legal career with the Northern Territory Department of Justice as an Articled Clerk. Upon being admitted to practice, Alan worked as the sole in-house lawyer for the Northern Territory Department of Corporate and Information Services (DCIS).

During his time with DCIS, Alan gained extensive experience in the areas of government procurement and information technology. Alan joined the commercial division of Ward Keller in August 2006 and has continued to provide legal services to DCIS and various other Northern Territory Government Departments.

In addition to dealing with government procurement and information technology matters, Alan works with a number of private sector clients on range of commercial matters including commercial leasing, business sale agreements, property transfers, sale and distribution agreements, corporate reconstructions and general contractual disputes.

Qualifications & Memberships

• Bachelor of Laws
• Bachelor of Economics
• Admitted as a Legal Practitioner in the Northern Territory (2004)
