Experience

Carolyn commenced practice in 1986 with a small Adelaide firm, undertaking commercial litigation and general commercial matters.

In 1988 she joined Daenke O’Donovan, a boutique firm specialising in commercial law and litigation.

In 1992 Carolyn joined the Crown Solicitor’s Office within the SA Attorney-General’s Department, and in 1995 was seconded to the South Australian Health Commission as a commercial lawyer. In 1998 Carolyn became Manager of the Legal Services Unit within the Department of Human Services and left that position to move to Ward Keller in 2000.

Carolyn’s clients at Ward Keller include individuals, corporations, interstate legal firms and financial institutions, for whom she acts in relation to a broad range of commercial matters, both litigious and non litigious.

Carolyn has a special interest in wills and estate law.

Qualifications & Memberships

• Bachelor of Laws, Adelaide University
• Admitted as a Legal Practitioner in South Australia (1986), and the Northern Territory (2000)
• Past member of the Commercial Law Committee of the Law Society and the Northern Territory Law Reform Committee in relation to Family Provision and Intestacy
• Public Officer and Board Member of Riding for the Disabled and Public Officer for the Craft Council for the Northern Territory, reflecting a personal interest in equine pursuits and the arts
