On 30 September 2021, Ward Keller Migration Agent, Anke Nagel, was elected Branch President of the Queensland and Northern Territory branch of the Migration Institute of Australia (MIA).
The MIA is the leading association for migration professionals in Australia and represents its members through regular government liaison, advocacy, public speaking and media engagements.
This is the first time someone from a non-capital city has been elected to the Board of the MIA. Anke aims to use her seat on the Board of the MIA to give regional Australia a strong voice to advocate for changes to Federal Government migration policy to tackle the chronic shortage of skilled and unskilled workers faced by the Territory.
An immigrant herself, Anke is a long term Alice Springs resident and has more than 12 years’ experience in the migration industry. She helps clients with skilled migration applications and employers sponsoring people to come to the Northern Territory.
