Bettina Kobelt

Bettina Kobelt graduated with a Bachelor of Laws (Honours) from Queenland’s Bond University in 2019 and joined Ward Keller as a Graduate Law Clerk in February 2020. Bettina was admitted to practise in the Supreme Court of the Northern Territory in July 2020 and commenced her lawyer position with Ward Keller immediately after. Bettina is also admitted to practise in the High Court of Australia.

Bettina now practices in Family and Criminal law, with a focus on resolving matters outside of court. Bettina also regularly appears in the Federal Circuit and Family Court of Australia for family matters, and can often be found appearing in the Local Court of the Northern Territory for criminal matters, including for drug and traffic offences.

After hours, Bettina sites on the Northern Territory Young Lawyers committee and volunteers as a Youth Ambassador with Headspace Darwin. Bettina also enjoys reading, baking and taking her boisterous Rottweiler, Zeus, to the dog park for ‘zoomies’.
