Lawyer Alecia Howland practised for seven years in Gunnedah, New South Wales, before spending 12 months travelling around Australia and finally settling in Darwin in 2012.
Alecia joined Ward Keller in October 2016, where she works in the commercial law division. She brought experience in personal injury law, conveyancing and general commercial matters.
She said Ward Keller was very welcoming.
‘Everybody has been wonderful’, Alecia said. ‘They’re very open to answering questions and helping decide on the best approach.’
Outside work, Alecia enjoys fit boxing. She and her husband have three children, and she loves taking them on the fun family adventures the Top End offers. ‘We love doing outdoor activities, like going camping and swimming under waterfalls. Darwin has been wonderful for that.’
