While completing her law degree at Charles Darwin University, Josie Short also worked as a law clerk for local barrister John Lawrence SC.
After graduating, she worked at the Supreme Court in Darwin for 12 months as an associate to his Honour Justice Southwood.
She joined Ward Keller’s Darwin litigation team in February 2018.
‘I’ve learnt so much already and am enjoying being involved in a bit of everything’, said Josie. ‘The people here are lovely, helpful and approachable.
‘I’m looking forward to matters where I get to help people directly’, she said.
Josie grew up in Darwin’s rural area. When she’s not at work, she loves fishing and camping and plays A-grade hockey for Banks.
