Rachael Adolphe has been registered as a migration agent since 2012. She joined the Ward Keller migration team in February 2020.
Rachael was previously a reviewer at the federal government’s Administrative Appeals Tribunal, which deals with applicants’ appeals of decisions made by the Department of Immigration.
She’s also worked for Deloitte as a senior immigration consultant and consulted for other migration firms, including on task forces to Nauru to assess refugee applicants’ claims.
‘I get a lot of enjoyment and satisfaction from assisting people to find pathways and giving them options to meet their visa criteria’, said Rachael.
‘I love working for a law firm because you can collaborate with the lawyers around matters that affect common clients. For example, I can assist the conveyancing team with questions about temporary visa holders wanting to buy residential property and the family law team with immigration implications when there is a relationship break down.
‘And the team at Ward Keller are so friendly and welcoming’, she said. ‘They’re all generous with their time in sharing information and knowledge. I’m really quite blessed to be here.’
Outside work, Rachael is a mum to two teenage girls, who keep her busy. She likes camping, going for walks with her dog and reading.
