Asha joined the Ward Keller team in July 2024, after working at another Territory law firm in the commercial sector for over 2 years. Asha was born and raised in Darwin before moving to Melbourne to complete her studies at Monash University, majoring in criminology. After completing two years of her degree in Melbourne, the COVID-19 pandemic brought her back to Darwin while she completed her final year of study.

At Ward Keller, Asha provides administrative support to the litigation team, working primarily within family law, while also assisting with various aspects within the litigation team.

Since joining the firm, Asha has felt right at home, describing the team as “the best” and appreciating the friendly, welcoming atmosphere. She feels as though she’s known her colleagues for much longer, which has made her transition into the firm seamless.

Outside of the office, Asha loves to bake, especially cheesecakes, which is her specialty. Asha has rediscovered her passion for baking, a hobby that she enjoyed in high school. She bakes every weekend and brings her baked goods into the office to share. When she’s not whipping up delicious treats, you’ll find her gaming—a favorite pastime that helps her relax after a busy week.
