Chelsea Howland
Administrative Assistant
Chelsea hails from the small town of Gunnedah, NSW, and moved to Darwin after traveling around Australia with her family when she was four years old. Her parents fell in love with Darwin, and she has lived here since she was five.
After high school, Chelsea took a brief break and worked part-time while figuring out her next steps. She always had an interest in law and, after completing work experience at Ward Keller during Year 10, she was inspired to pursue a legal career. Chelsea has heard great things about Ward Keller throughout her life and joined the firm in March 2025.
Currently, Chelsea works as an administrative assistant. She started in the busy conveyancing team, where she quickly became familiar with the program, assisting with phone calls and reception duties. As an all-rounder, Chelsea enjoys helping wherever needed and appreciates the variety her role offers.
Chelsea has found the team at Ward Keller to be incredibly supportive, patient, and welcoming. The collaborative environment has made her feel comfortable and eager to contribute.
Outside of work, Chelsea enjoys spending time with her family, whether it’s playing board games, card games, or video games. She also loves listening to music and hopes to get back into reading in her downtime. Chelsea is looking forward to learning new skills, such as playing guitar and crocheting.
Chelsea took a five-week post-graduation holiday, visiting destinations like Paris, London, Scotland, Ireland, and Singapore. Her favourite stop was Paris, where she was captivated by the city’s beauty, history, and architecture, including a memorable Moulin Rouge show. Chelsea hopes to travel even more in the future.
