Raine Kinna joined Ward Keller as a Law Clerk in February 2024 and has since progressed into a lawyer role with the firm. She completed her Bachelor of Laws at Charles Darwin University in November 2025, followed by her Graduate Diploma in Legal Practice with the College of Law in March 2026.

Born and raised in Darwin, Raine went straight into university after finishing Year 12. ‘Law is what I’ve wanted to do for as long as I can remember,’ she said. ‘It’s incredibly rewarding to now be practising in a profession I’ve always been passionate about.’

Raine has developed experience across a broad range of practice areas, including commercial law, conveyancing, wills and estate planning, and both civil and criminal litigation. She regularly assists with drafting legal documents, conducting legal research, preparing correspondence, and supporting clients through a variety of dispute-related matters. Raine has also completed a rotation through the firm’s mining and resources and litigation teams, further developing her experience in those areas.

Outside of work, Raine enjoys assisting with her sister’s animal rescue organisation, Save a Paw NT Inc. In her spare time, she also enjoys reading, catching up with friends over coffee, taking walks along the foreshore, and spending quiet afternoons at home with her dog.
