Sofia hails from Argentina, but her journey to Alice Springs began with a simple moment of reflection. While working at home in her office one day, she looked out the window and decided that the world must have something else to offer. Seeking adventure and new opportunities, Sofia moved to Alice Springs in search of better work prospects. She had previously worked in communities in the area and found that Alice Springs offered the right balance of community and opportunity.

Before joining Ward Keller, Sofia was a lawyer specialising in anti-money laundering in Argentina. Her career, however, wasn’t just limited to law. Sofia has held a variety of roles throughout her life, including waitress, warehouse worker, store manager in communities, and even teaching pottery at an art centre. These experiences have given her a well-rounded perspective, and she’s always looking to explore new avenues.

Sofia is a qualified lawyer in Argentina and aspires to practice law in Australia as well. After securing permanent residency, she plans to continue her studies to gain the necessary qualifications to pursue her legal career in Australia.

Since joining Ward Keller in January 2025, Sofia has found the team to be one of the highlights of her role. She enjoys working on settlements but is especially grateful for the kindness and support she receives from her colleagues. The camaraderie and the collaborative work environment make her role fulfilling.

In her work at Ward Keller, Sofia assists with property settlements in Alice Springs. While the pace of her work can vary, Fridays tend to be the busiest days.

Outside of work, Sofia is passionate about art and creativity. She has always loved pottery and took classes in Argentina, dreaming of one day pursuing this interest professionally. She also enjoys painting, dancing, listening to music, and spending time with her friends.
