Ward Keller’s new Front of House Manager, Deepak Shrestha, joined the firm in April 2023. Previously an assistant manager at a cafe, Deepak was looking for a change after 10 years in the hospitality industry.

‘It’s been a great change,’ Deepak said. ‘The team at Ward Keller have been so helpful in guiding me in my new career.’

Deepak came to Australia from Nepal in 2013. After stints in Melbourne and Sydney, he moved to Darwin in 2020. ‘The beauty of living in Darwin is you get more time with your family and for yourself,’ he said.

Deepak’s skills from 10 years in hospitality are being put to good use at the firm, where he liaises with clients, replenishes stock, arranges morning and afternoon tea and events, and helps the lawyers and admin team with anything they need.

Outside work, Deepak loves playing cricket for the Uni Bulls.
