Lawyers Associated Worldwide Elects Chair and Vice Chair

Fort Collins, Colorado, USA – Lawyers Associated Worldwide (LAW) is pleased to announce its membership has elected Australian lawyer Leon Loganathan to serve as Chairman of the international legal network. Members have also chosen Canadian lawyer Celso Boscariol to lead as Vice Chairman. Both were selected to two-year terms at the 2022 Annual General Meeting (AGM) on 15 October 2022.

Mr. Loganathan is a partner at the law firm of Ward Keller in Darwin, Northern Territory, Australia. He practices in state taxation, commercial transactions and alternative dispute resolution. In addition to holding qualifications in law and economics, Mr. Loganathan is a graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors. He has served on the Executive Committee of LAW for over 10 years.

Mr. Boscariol is partner at the law firm of Watson Goepel in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada. He previously served on the LAW Executive Committee as Secretary until 2021. Mr. Boscariol is in the business law group of his firm, and advises foreign companies on investing and setting up businesses in Canada, as well as business immigration issues, and commercial lending matters.   He is also president of the Italian Chamber of Commerce in Canada-West and the European Union Chamber of Commerce in Canada West.  He was appointed Queen’s Counsel in 2017, and now holds the prestigious title of King’s Counsel.

“We are very pleased these two individuals have been chosen by the membership to serve in these two leadership positions of LAW,” said Marc Grüninger, Immediate Past Chair of LAW. “It is a pleasure to chair this organization with such a spectacular group of lawyers on the Executive Committee.  We have accomplished much in the last few years and this great team will allow us to make more great strides over the next few years.”

LAW extends its sincere gratitude to Canadian lawyer Curtis Onishenko, who completed his second two-year term as Americas Regional Representative.  LAW also expresses best wishes and gratitude to Zurich-based lawyer Marc Grüninger, who served as Chair of the Executive Committee from 2018-2022. Mr. Grüninger helped guide the organization through the challenges of COVID-19, and now moves into the Immediate Past President role for a one-year term.
