Max Stretton first started with Ward Keller as a Law Clerk in 2015.
He has experience working in Ward Keller’s Indonesian LAW partner firm, AKSET Law in Jakarta, and as a judge’s associate in the Northern Territory Supreme Court. ‘That was amazing’, he said. ‘I learnt so much and really enjoyed it.’
Max graduated with his law degree in October 2019 and was admitted to practise in December 2019. As part of his law degree, Max also studied in Indonesia and China.
He rejoined Ward Keller and is now a lawyer in the firm’s Alice Springs office.
‘I spent three months in Alice Springs with the judge in 2019 and got a good feel for the place and thought it’d be a great change’, said Max.
Max works in the litigation team on insurance, liquor licensing, wills and estates, workers’ compensation, employment law and criminal law matters. ‘The team here is lovely’, he said. ‘They’ve been really welcoming.’
Max was born in Bali but has been in the Territory most of his life. In his free time, he likes playing sport and going for hikes around Alice Springs.
